Tradition & Future
Knowing how to successfully connect age-old organic principles and the latest growing methods. That is what makes BioVerbeek special.
With their farm, the brothers Jac, Leo and Fons Verbeek are continuing a growers' tradition. The Verbeek family has been working in horticulture for generations. The three brothers started out as conventional growers in the late seventies. Shared idealism led them to switch the existing farms over to organic growing methods in late 1997.
What is good today, BioVerbeek wants to do better tomorrow. We are continuously working on innovations. Examples are smart logistic solutions and optimising the internal business processes. Other examples are further improving the organic growing method, manufacturing high-quality compost ourselves and in-house research. And last but not least using and improving modern techniques such as residual heat supply, climate control, mechanisation and organic pest control. BioVerbeek stands for organic growing at its best.
